Hi, I’m Makenna, a wildlife and landscape photographer based in British Columbia, Canada. Over the years, I’ve explored and captured the natural world—from the rugged coastline of the Pacific Ocean to the vast stillness of the desert. My photography is about finding beauty in quiet moments and sharing the stories that wild places have to tell.

I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood curiosity quickly grew into a passion that’s shaped my life. I’ve honed my skills through university, the Hogue Education Program, and countless hours spent out in the wild, capturing the world through my lens.

I hope to inspire a deeper connection to the land, to wildlife, and to the fleeting moments you may not often come across—but can experience through my photos. My goal is to use photography as a bridge between people and the wild, sparking emotion, awareness, and a sense of responsibility for the landscapes and creatures we’re fortunate enough to share this planet with.
